We are just around the corner to Spring SOS.  I hope that everyone is ready for all of the fun at North Myrtle Beach.  I know that we are.  If you need SOS cards, please contact me at (704) 209 1125 or email me at salisburyshagclub@gmail.com to get your cards. 

We have alot of events for the month of March.  The Embers will be at the High Rock Boat & Ski Club on the 9th.  Curt and Allen Stewart have also schedule the Craig Woolard Band for the 23rd.  It's Allen's birthday and what a great way to celebrate.

We also will be having our monthly meeting at the High Rock & Ski Club on the 16th.  Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone. Be sure to wear something green to celebrate St Paddy's. 

We also would like to welcome our new members this month, Jay & Melonie Thaxton.  Jay is a Pro on the CSA and SPA dance circuit.  Be sure and ask Jay to show you some of the steps that he puts on the dance floor.

Thank you to everyone that help and came out for the Gene Briles Shaggers United at the Elk's Lodge this past month.  We had a great crowd and great music on both dance floors.  Congratulations to the Lexington Shag Club who won first place for having over half of their membership to participate.  Piedmont Shag Association and Twister Shag Club came in second and third, respectfully.  We appreciate these clubs in having a good turnout for us and what a great way to remember our dear friend, Gene Briles.

On March 10th, Relay for Life will be kicking off an event at the Salisbury Elks Lodge.  Please plan to attend to support this great charity.  The DJ for the night will Chad Sain.  Contact Mike or Becky Sifford for more information.
